beach, cliff, strata, hedgerows

This gallery contains a range of porcelain work inspired by the beach, cliff strata, pebbles and ammonites found down the meandering single track lanes of the Coast of England.
I use ammonites, shells, starfish, sand, grasses, seeds and other textures to create pictures in clay. These are delicately washed with underglazes, oxides and vitreous slips to enhance the textures and detailed surface.
I have developed these items into wall plaques, vessels, and other decorative objects.
